Forty First Annual Western Pecan Growers Association Annual Conference

Our annual conference educational program will include a wide range of important topics of concern to pecan growers throughout the western growing region. Speakers will address issues such as pest control, fertilizer and water and orchard management. As always, we hope that this year’s presentations will help growers improve cultural practices.

  • WPGA Pecan Show: A $100.00 prize will given for the best pecan sample. Pecan samples from outside New Mexico must be received by February 2, 2007. In-state entries will be accepted until 12:00 noon on Sunday, March 4, 2007 (entry form).
  • Pecan Food Fantasy: Cash prizes. The deadline for food entries is 12:30 p.m., Sunday, March 4. (information) (entry form)
